One of the best parts of Navigate every year is getting the chance to spend time with our customers. Reflecting on the big wins, the lessons learned, and those moments where we came together to achieve the right outcomes. When our customers succeed, we succeed.

Each year at Navigate, we take time to celebrate a group of customers who are elevating their identity security programs and demonstrating that identity is essential to their business. We are thrilled to share our 2024 customer award winners and their accomplishments in three award categories:

  • Identity Security Champion – these customers have achieved measurable success while building innovative identity security programs.
  • Digital Transformation MVP – these customers have dramatically changed the way they run their identity programs with innovative digital technologies.
  • Admiral of the Year – this customer has participated in the greatest number of advocacy activities with SailPoint through our Admirals Club program.

Identity Security Champion

Each of these customers have shown leadership and innovation in their identity security programs. They have proven that identity is core to their business success.

Aboitiz

This company grew from a small hemp fiber trading business to the Philippines’ first techglomerate. The Group is recognized as one of the best-managed companies in the Philippines and the region, consistently cited for its commitment to good corporate governance and sustainability.

A couple of years ago, the company started their cloud-driven transformation to boost innovation and collaboration across its diverse business units in multiple geographies. A strong identity posture was a foundational element that anchored the entire initiative.

Leveraging SailPoint, this Group has replaced ad hoc manual systems with an automated identity security platform from SailPoint. Initial benefits include improved security in a Zero Trust framework, along with faster onboarding and timely account deactivation through automation. For example, rather than waiting on average five working days for their account to be manually created, new hires receive their account instantly, and deactivating an account is immediate, rather than an on average 21-day process.

The AES Corporation

AES deployed Identity Security Cloud and has rapidly scaled and transformed their end-to-end digital lifecycle management processes. Their unique approach is rooted in their commitment to providing a holistic, standardized identity solution that caters to all user types. They have vastly improved the timeliness and efficiency of providing necessary access.

Aramco

Aramco has created a centralized corporate cybersecurity platform based on their SailPoint solution. This platform provides secure and automated access controls across the company’s corporate applications and systems and delivers significant value by streamlining operations, improving efficiency, enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction, while also driving innovation.

Groupe Rocher

Groupe Rocher successfully migrated from several existing IAM/IGA solutions to SailPoint in less than 6 months for all of the group's brands worldwide. The company aimed to harmonize and rationalize its cybersecurity technology with a unified identity security solution. Using Agile methodology and with a “One Team” mindset, the goal was quickly achieved within the budget imperative.

GXS Bank

This digital bank successfully deployed SailPoint quickly and efficiently, saving time and resources. They established a strong foundation for their identity security and governance program, enabling real-time monitoring of user access through a single, unified view. This customer prides itself in challenging conventions to make banking better. Innovation is their obsession. Their attention now turns to AI-assisted capabilities in role modeling/provisioning, using end-to-end the data aggregated via our platform to further strengthen risk management and governance capabilities.

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora

This customer is uniquely positioned to showcase how the right technology could drive innovation in the healthcare sector. In a challenging and complex environment, with budget and resources limitations, this healthcare institution was able to prove the value of identity security investment and make a powerful business case around cost savings, efficiency, and freeing up clinicians’ time. For instance, after deploying SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, this organization was able to provision 300 users to a new app within 10 minutes. This avoided at least 15-20 service desk tickets and 10-15 hours as well as additional likely delays. These stellar results are just the beginning of a large-scale service transformation that meets the wider needs of the community.

Nelnet, Inc.

Nelnet migrated from IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud just this year. They have a tremendous team that really stepped up to learn the solution and have worked tirelessly to leverage all features in a significant way, for a successful go live. Their migration is a notable example of how important a team approach is to a complex project.

RWE

RWE chose IdentityIQ over a decade ago, then successfully migrated to Identity Security Cloud a couple of years ago with stellar results. Their number of users increased tenfold while onboarding time dropped on average from 25 days to less than 3 hours.

This is one of the textbook examples of how a technology provider and a customer can grow together in a truly innovative partnership.

Swiss Re

Swiss Re migrated from IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud just this year. As a global company with a very complex internal environment and over 20 thousand internal and external identities to manage, the team was looking for a way to simplify and standardize IAM processes while improving user experience. While moving to a SaaS solution, the team also developed their own Identity Security Cloud Terraform Provider for Automated Configuration Management, which helps them to drastically increase automation of identity processes and reduce manual effort needed.

Digital Transformation MVP

This award recognizes organizations that use innovative digital technologies to help streamline business processes and to drive impact in an innovative way.

Bank of England

With hundreds of critical applications and data sources, this central bank transitioned from a manual to an automated solution to secure its data more completely while meeting compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

With a digital transformation mindset, the Bank modernized their approach by moving from SailPoint IdentityIQ to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. They also deployed a significant Non-Employee Risk Management solution for the SWIFT payments system, which will scale to 25,000 users and be used by the majority of financial institutions.

ConocoPhillips Company

ConocoPhillips deployed Identity Security Cloud to provide a holistic and standardized identity solution that caters to all users within their organization. The team has not only deployed all features of the product in a significant way but has made SailPoint the central point of control for access across almost all their ERP systems. Their success is a textbook example of how a broader strategic digital initiative with executive sponsorship can impact the speed in which an IGA program can be transformed and modernized.

Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley deployed certifications on Identity Security Cloud from a very complex internal tool. The team has been able to transform the way they maintain compliance within their business in an efficient manner given their complex data structure. They have been a great partner in driving the capabilities of Identity Security Cloud and helping develop the future of the product.

NSW Department Customer Service

This leading government agency in the ANZ region is often publicly recognised at the forefront of digital transformation across government. As a long-term customer of SailPoint, the company made a choice to migrate from IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud to help deliver more value to the 8 million citizens they support and protect. The robust Identity Security platform is empowering them to exert precise control over user access rights, helping ensure alignment with internal policies and government industry mandates.
